Patience…!!!!! Yes, screamed with five exclamation points LOL
If you want to see any images on this photographer’s site, I guess you’ll have to wait another half a day or so… The galleries are throwing error messages and fixing it has required taking the portfolio galleries offline and re-work the code. SORRY ABOUT THAT!! Smart people are working on it today, and I’m going to do what I do… make some photographs!
If it fails to resolve today, then I guess we’ll all have to go to Plan B… storming the gate or whatever. lol
This reminds me of this past weekend when my younger daughter and I spent 20 minutes (yes, really, 20 minutes!) in the drive-thru at Carl’s Jr. by Newhall Ranch Road. That turned out to be our BETTER fast food experience of the day. An hour later, my older daughter and I were standing in Jack in the Box on Lyons wondering about our order. We had been through the drive-thru, paid, and received an invitation to pull around and park, where someone was supposed to bring our food to us. 15 minutes later, we went back inside. Our order had apparently disappeared into Jackspace. They re-made it, added a fruit cup and sent us on our way. I’m thinking as we get back in the car that I could do a website on the fast food experiences I’ve had in my life… www.nothing-happy-in-this-meal.com? My brain fluttered away on a tangent about hyphens or no hyphens and that’s where it ended…
That was a surreal day in a lot of ways, some time I’ll have to tell you about the rest of it…
I suppose if you don’t know me well, you would naturally assume that I like fast food drive-thru’s. Actually, it was pretty weird to be doing fast food at all, and doing TWO fast food places in one day…?!? Did my experience make me re-consider that perhaps I should eat fast food all the time? Uh… no.
If you have kids, you know about scheduling issues and some days are a two fast food day. Please don’t flame me about my kids’ eating habits — they generally eat well when they’re not driving thru for lunch. Just trying to teach them a little American tradition about our great nation — eat FAST and get on to the next thing… Let’s go, let’s go, let’s go!!! :-p
I dunno. I doubt if any of the chefs at a five star restaurant care about “FAST” unless it has to do with delivering the food while it’s still hot, and providing their guests with superior service. Conversation, laughing, savoring… it’s a lot better than chew, suck and swallow. LOL
Sometimes you just need a little patience.
John
