OPT – other people’s technology
Last night, my MySpace account stopped functioning. It basically disappeared. No warning from MySpace — no violation of terms of service or anything like that. It just WENT AWAY… taking my 1700 friends, their lovely page and picture comments and my penetrating thoughts on the universe with them. OK, no great loss on that last part… lol

Today I’m in Denver, Colorado, an absolutely beautiful part of the country. I love how big the sky is here, and the clouds. I’m a huge fan of clouds, as many of you probably already know or guessed. You have seen a cloud theme in a lot of my work, especially the wide-angle variety…

Happy Father’s Day!
My dad was one of the biggest influencers in my life. I think we dads sometimes forget the tremendous impact we have on our children’s lives… Each moment we interact with our kids is a chance to pick them up or knock them down. If you wonder how big an impact you have on your child’s life, consider the finding that most young children associate their view of their father with their view of God… No pressure! lol

I’m BUZZed… :-p
In the category of little factoids that don’t affect our lives very much, I’ve been awarded Honorable Mention in the 2007 BUZZ Marketing Awards. It’s an international competition co-sponsored by Wedding & Portrait Photographers International and Blossom Publishing that recognizes outstanding marketing efforts by professional photographers. I’m proud of winning because it means that I’m designing effective marketing campaigns that are relevant to YOU, my most important person. Plus, it’s an international competition, so it’s kinda cool to be standing in the winner’s circle with photographers from Australia and all across the U.S.
