OPT – other people’s technology
Last night, my MySpace account stopped functioning. It basically disappeared. No warning from MySpace — no violation of terms of service or anything like that. It just WENT AWAY… taking my 1700 friends, their lovely page and picture comments and my penetrating thoughts on the universe with them. OK, no great loss on that last part… lol

New site glitches
You may have logged into the site this weekend or today and noticed that THERE ARE NO IMAGES in the portfolio galleries! Kinda ironic for a photography website to have no images. Well, that’s because we’re still moving the site from the old site’s servers to the new servers, and re-populating all the galleries with fresh content. Give us a day or so, and the galleries should be full of smiling faces again. In the meantime, grab a lemonade or iced tea and enjoy this beautiful day…

The first day of…
Welcome to the first day of the rest of my site’s life!!!
Today marks a huge occasion in the evolution of JohnMichaelFlynn.com. The new site is now officially live — the DNS servers have been edited — and this site, while humble now, will eventually be a tremendous source of news, tips, information, how-to’s, etc… It’s a huge day for my business, too. I have signed a lease on space in Mount Washington in Los Angeles and I’m well under way on plans to open a satellite location in Denver, Colorado. Both should be ready for business by mid-summer 2007. Of course, I will continue to work on-location throughout Los Angeles and the world… the past several months, I’ve been to Colorado, northern California, Las Vegas… I’d love to see Paris, so if you have a French cousin who needs a portrait, please mention my name.
